Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
For what it’s worth, the prequels weren’t as bad as most people think. The acting for the most part was okay with what was given to them. The weakest parts being those involving Anakin and Padme; however, that’s something that never got better by the end of these episodes. There were elements introduced that didn’t make much sense in the timeline and with what’s already been established but there were some good things we had. Pod-racing was one of the best things to have come out of the prequels. Then we also had Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul introduced to us! and they were immediately taken away. While it was obvious there was CGI, it still felt natural and like it belonged. In short, we got a shaky look as to how things begun in that galaxy far far away.
