Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
The transformation is almost complete as Anakin struggles to figure out how to keep his visions of Padme dying during childbirth from coming true. I do have to say the acting in this one was the best of the three. The relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan has evolved to a father and angsty son type. The emperor luring Anakin slowly to his side with empty promises. The most frustrating thing about this one is the complete turn around he does after coming so close to making the right calls. He was willing to turn the Sith Lord in! and next thing we know he’s killing little ones. So I guess my biggest issue with this one was the pacing; because for the most part the story progressed the way it should have. Also, for a movie set in space I’m expecting CGI, but I still feel like it went overboard and didn’t have any sense that this could be real. As with my other scrambled thoughts on the previous two episode, parts of this trilogy were really strong; they were just outweighed by awkward dialogue/acting and pacing issues.
